Our Mission of Service to the Elderly is Over 100 Years Old, But Our Thinking is Not. . .
Our tactical plans with this project will allow us to accomplish several strategic operations at the same time. We will be able to completely renovate one of our most outdated nursing units while also creating a state-of-the-art Medicare and therapy neighborhood for our current residents.
With the vision we have for this renovation, we will also be able to provide an entirely new level of rehabilitation to the elderly in the greater Topeka region - and provide a much more marketable product and service allowing us to keep our occupancy rates high and our cash flow strong.
Incredible Forward Progress
In 2009, Aldersgate Village again gained major momentum on the path of progress, reaching unprecedented financial milestones. According to our most recently finalized audit, both our Debt Service, Coverage Ratio and our Days Cash On Hand were the highest in over 10 years. These represent tremendous advancements in both expense reduction and revenue growth, amounting to a net improvement of nearly one million dollars. This comes on the heels of the prior two years, where the organization completed one of the largest and fastest turnarounds in the retirement housing industry.
